The “High-Tech” Reskin Towel
There is a new product out of Korea known as the Reskin towel. It is touted as being a high-tech way of effectively controlling acne. I have not physically held one of these towels, nor have I even seen one up close. But, from their literature, it seems this claim should probably be taken with a grain of salt.
In particular, it seems that their claim of it being “high-tech science” may merely be that it is a reusable towel instead of a micro-scrubbing pad. Also, the fact that it is intended to be a physical face exfoliant… but is simultaneously intended for use with “vulnerable and sensitive skin” leads me to question the logic behind it. If they understand “vulnerable and sensitive” acne-prone skin, they would also understand that a face exfoliant that works chemically is a more appropriate option than a physical face exfoliant.
With these things said though, it is perhaps unfair of me to judge so harshly without having any experience of the product. Hopefully people who have used it will share their opinions of how well it works in helping them to get clear skin. It would be interesting to hear some first-hand insight.
